America Retold was established in 1995 to design, manufacture and make available to the wholesale trade a broad selection of classically-inspired products with a distinctly French style for the home and garden.
We pioneered in the effort to transform the limited offerings available in specialty stores and gift shops to include relatively inexpensive but stylish items for use at home.
We have also created custom products for both high-end and low price-point retail organizations. Such prominent retailers as Williams-Sonoma, the Sundance Catalog, Ballard Designs, Anthropology and Harney & Sons Fine Teas have carried our more sophisticated custom products, while we have adapted various other products to serve the marketing needs of chain stores such as TJMaxx and Marshalls.
We continue to work with such notable retailers as Pottery Barn and One Kings Lane in order to influence home and garden and gift giving market trends and promote the unique style of our designs.
Major design magazines such as Martha Stewart Living, Elle Décor, Country Living and Better Homes and Gardens have repeatedly featured America Retold products in their editorial coverage of trends in the marketplace. Our classic tabletop display items, such as our scalloped enamel cake stand and antique nickel plate stand are often used on NBC’s “Today Show”, most recently on April 22nd 2013.
America Retold’s booth at the semi-annual New York International Gift Fair has always been a primary destination for buyers, interior designers and magazine editors seeking new creative ideas in product design and presentation.
